Life in the Forest was a collaborative creative music project involving Orchestras Live, sinfonia ViVA and North West Leicestershire District Council. Workshop leader Jack Ross worked with a team of ViVA musicians and groups of young people from local schools and colleges to create a series of songs and instrumental pieces themed around Life in the Forest.

As well as extracts from the performance, this audio clip includes a short interview by Jan Ford with sinfonia ViVA's Education Manager, Marianne Quintrell, and feedback from some of the young participants themselves.
