COUNT US IN - MARCH 2010 UPDATE

• ‘Challenge Days’ are taking place in all 12 Hertfordshire Challenge (Secondary) schools involved in Count Us In
• Sustainable Year 7 music ensembles being started in each school, with a clear identity led by its pupils
• Primary school (transition) initiatives with Year 6 classes and the RPO will be held in the summer term
• Parallel out-of-school programme has become the focus for new service planning across the county between Herts Music Service and Youth Connexions Hertfordshire
• Area performances at inspiring venues are being planned for July, as well as a major celebration showcase with the RPO at Stevenage Leisure Centre in November
• Monthly steering group meetings are being held, as well as the national MPP partners meeting at Hatfield
