Adrian Lee Describes a Positive Future for Disabled Musicians

Annual Review 2016/17
We are pleased to share our Annual Review for 2016/17. This review gives us a rare opportunity to step back from the detail of bespoke activities and look at them in a broader context. Our determination to challenge assumptions and develop ways to engage new audiences permeates our work and we’re really proud of what our partnerships achieved this year.
Sound Around Year Two
The second year of our national Sound Around project with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is getting well underway. Throughout December, an octet of musicians from the RPO visited special schools across Carlisle, Lowestoft and Reading to perform a series of specially-devised concerts.

Hear and Now – Philharmonia, Bedford
The culmination of this year’s Hear and Now project, the Philharmonia’s flagship intergenerational community creative project based in the Queens Park area of Bedford, takes place on Saturday 14 October 2017.
