Adrian Lee Describes a Positive Future for Disabled Musicians
We are delighted that Adrian Lee will be working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a placement supported through, and as part of, our programme of mentoring and skills development for emerging Disabled music leaders. The project, in collaboration with the RPO and partners in Essex, aims to support more Disabled musicians into creative leadership roles by facilitating conversations between artists and orchestras to access placements on existing music projects.
A founding member of The British Paraorchestra, visually impaired musician, composer and creative leader, Adrian will be collaborating with the RPO Resound team and the Royal Society for Blind Children in an exciting music project for young people with vision impairments. Read the RPO’s recent interview with Adrian to find out more about his involvement with the orchestra ahead of his placement later this month.
