Data sharing guidance
The Audience Agency have worked with Arts Council England to put together guidance on the new data sharing requirements for all National Portfolio Organisations.
Sharing Customer Data for Audience Development and Marketing: who to share data with and when to share it was published in February 2016 and is available to download as PDF via the link below.
This guidance has been created to reflect new advice from Information Commissioners Office about how cultural organisations should obtain permissions from individuals to enable the use and sharing of personal information in compliance with the regulations. The issues concerning the cultural sector have been explored from all points of view in order to help all organisations – from touring companies and festivals to presenting venues, ensuring balance and fairness.
