We develop the creative leadership skills of orchestras, musicians and promoters to increase the quality of engagement and sustainability of live orchestral music for future generations.

Darlington Hippodrome orchestral series
"You have awoken their musical aspirations and given me a fantastic foundation to build upon." - teacher
Our music and film project with Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in Darlington built up the self-esteem of students participating in the project and helped them realise their musical talent.
Deaf and Disabled Music Leader Development Programme
Talented musicians whose careers have not previously encompassed music leading with orchestras have built skills and connections through our Deaf and Disabled Music Leader programme. Musicians on the programme have already been engaged for professional work with orchestras including City of London Sinfonia and the Royal Philhamornic Orchestra.
Young composers with a wide range of existing musical interests worked with Manchester Camerata to create new music telling stories about the history of their local area. Returning to the project year after year, they developed their composition skills - some going on to win competitions or study at university/conservatoire - and gained new skills through mentoring their peers.
