Deaf and Disabled Music Leader Development Programme

Talented musicians whose careers have not previously encompassed music leading with orchestras have built skills and connections through our Deaf and Disabled Music Leader programme. Musicians on the programme have already been engaged for professional work with orchestras including City of London Sinfonia and the Royal Philhamornic Orchestra.

Cumbria Calling

Young composers with a wide range of existing musical interests worked with Manchester Camerata to create new music telling stories about the history of their local area. Returning to the project year after year, they developed their composition skills - some going on to win competitions or study at university/conservatoire - and gained new skills through mentoring their peers.
