We're delighted to be a Founder Member of Black Lives in Music.
We’re working to improve inclusivity at all levels of our organisation and, collaborating with others, to achieve equality for people of colour in our sector.
Our membership of Black Lives in Music represents an important step in Orchestras Live’s practical commitment to make change in order to embed inclusion throughout our organisation and achieve equality for people of colour in our profession. We know they’ll be posing some challenging questions and we’ll be engaging in a period of reflection, holding ourselves accountable, before moving forward with positive action.

We are really pleased to be working in partnership with Orchestras Live. We are all involved in an artform that brings people together to share in a rich experience of enjoyment while exploring a wide range of emotions. We believe that the whole community belongs to the wider cultural identity of our industry and of course, the music it should represent. We have shared thoughts and beliefs for the betterment of an industry that can truly boast itself to be an inclusive community, we look forward to working together with Orchestras Live to help achieve this.
