Regenerate: Civic Purpose - Returning to normal, do we want to?
NewsNews Story
We’re delighted to announce our second Regenerate session of 2021 will take place on Thursday 6 May at 11am and will discuss: Civic Purpose - Returning to normal, do we want to?
Regenerate is our series of online conversations designed to explore new ideas that challenge the sector’s thinking and help create positive change for the communities we engage with.
Our next event focuses on Civic Purpose – Returning to normal, do we want to? and features panellists Amina Hussain, principal flute at Manchester Camerata, Jamie Njoku-Goodwin, CEO at UK Music, and Dougie Scarfe, CEO at Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
The panellists will discuss what the post-Covid era might look like for the sector. Should we be returning to the pre-Covid status quo or be looking to make substantial changes? Is participation becoming as important as performance for musicians as a result of lockdown digital activity?
