We’re delighted to announce our third Regenerate session will take place on Thursday 24 September at 11am and will discuss: Creative agency in community settings.
The panel includes, Sam Glazer, composer, cellist and music leader, Sally Lockey, Project Director, Right Up Our Street and Anne Torreggiani, Founder and Chief Executive of The Audience Agency.
Our #RegenerateSeries are focused online conversations designed to explore new ideas that challenge the sector’s thinking and help create positive change for our audiences and workforce.
The event will consider how orchestras can be at the forefront of helping communities respond to the post-covid environment, particularly in culturally under-served areas of the country.
Orchestras Live is already a leader in this area, working with participants and new audiences as co-producers and giving them agency to shape the work we do to ensure it is relevant and representative.
We'll look in more detail at this approach and how orchestras can play a part in the rebuilding process. We’ll discuss with the panellists how their own organisations approach embedding their work in local neighbourhoods, giving people a voice in shaping cultural activity to foster cohesive communities.
Our last Regenerate events sold out quickly, so we encourage you to register early for this session.
