Jeremy Clay
Jeremy is Senior Lecturer in Professional Development and Outreach at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (RBC), helping to develop the next generation of socially engaged musicians in education and community music settings.
Through the RBC Learning & Participation department he delivers programmes for young musicians both regionally and nationally, with a focus on creative opportunities delivered in partnership with a range of music education and community music organisations.
He is also Project Manager for In Harmony Telford and Stoke-on-Trent, a community music programme working with young musicians in areas where there are barriers to accessing musical opportunities.
As a composer and performer Jeremy has worked on a range of community initiatives as a facilitator and creative practitioner, using creativity as a way to enable people to express themselves.
