Deaf and Disabled Music Leader Development Programme

Talented musicians whose careers have not previously encompassed music leading with orchestras have built skills and connections through our Deaf and Disabled Music Leader programme. Musicians on the programme have already been engaged for professional work with orchestras including City of London Sinfonia and the Royal Philhamornic Orchestra.

Our SHINE project with Sinfonia Viva in Leicestershire resulted in the music service developing a specific music curriculum for SEND schools in the county, as well as the creation of practical guides and resources on how to create iPad bands in mainstream primary schools.
