Orchestras Live is pleased to welcome Lucianne Sarson into her new role as Administration Assistant - Data & Finance
Joining the Finance and Operations team, Lucianne is excited to start contributing to Orchestras Live’s work.
As a teenager and young adult, Lucianne’s interests centred on sport and the sciences. Alongside her studies, she was a competitive swimmer for a decade before becoming heavily involved in CrossFit and scuba diving. She also enjoyed attending music performances, ranging from Download Festival to a Hozier concert in Belgium and an orchestral performance of movie scores in Bordeaux. Variety, she believes, is the spice of life!

Lucianne is an avid reader of fantasy and sci-fi; she fills her free time with cooking, crocheting, playing board games, and drawing and painting. She particularly loves combining the latter two and painting board game pieces.
During her university studies, Lucianne discovered the power of data to communicate complex ideas clearly and support meaningful environmental and social projects. After several years of working in administrative and financial roles in the renewable energy and tourism sectors, she began to look for ways to use this alongside her workplace skills in a way that could have far-reaching benefits.
The combination of health issues and the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted to Lucianne the importance of making time for creativity and experiencing culture. She developed a deep appreciation for the benefits of the arts on mental health and began exploring different artistic hobbies.
Orchestras Live’s mission is one that resonates with Lucianne. Having grown up in a rural village with limited access to cultural experiences and undergone periods of inpatient care in both mental health facilities and her local hospital, she understands some of the barriers against arts inclusion at a personal level.
Lucianne is looking forward to applying her numerical and administrative skills to orchestral projects across England and is hoping for a productive and fulfilling future with Orchestras Live.
