Working with our Production and Stakeholder Engagement teams, you will play an important part in delivering our strategies, as well as providing support for the wider Orchestras Live team.

What you will do

The Production, Data and Insight Analyst maintains a holistic view of organisational data, ensuring Orchestras Live can monitor, analyse and report on the impact of its artistic and strategic activity. The postholder provides centralised data, evaluation and insight support to the Production and Stakeholder Engagement teams. The maternity cover role includes year-specific reporting requirements for 2026/27, core recurring financial and organisational reporting, and support for OL’s growing Impact & Evaluation services.

Key relationships:

  • The Chief Executive, who sets the strategic direction for organisation and who will line-manage this role.
  • The Production team who deliver Orchestras Live’s co-productions across our three key regions: North, Midlands and South.
  • The Stakeholder Engagement team, supporting Orchestras Live’s external communications, advocacy and thought leadership, business development and funding development.
  • Team members across the organisation to support them in producing high quality, high impact content that communicates their work effectively to our audiences

The work will consist of four core elements:

1. Impact, Data & Insight

Work with the Chief Executive to implement OL’s data strategy and Business Plan priorities relating to impact, insight and evaluation.

Manage and develop data systems to enable OL to monitor, analyse and report on the impact and outcomes of activity across all programmes.

Collate, analyse and present internal and external data for evaluation reporting to staff, trustees, funders and stakeholders.

Maintain OL’s CRM and data-processing systems to ensure accurate, comprehensive statistical reporting supported by the Administration Assistant (Data & Finance).

Regular / Recurring Activity:

Lead evaluations and surveys for OL co-produced activity, working with Production team colleagues and using consistent templates, benchmarking measures and social value indicators.

Supported by the Administration Assistant, reconcile financial data for OL co-produced activity on a quarterly basis with OL’s financial services provider.

Track activity eligible for Orchestra Tax Relief and prepare financial data required for OTR claim at year end.

Prepare quarterly internal reporting including the Dashboard, Impact & Insight Board Report, and additional data requested by the CEO or senior colleagues.

Contribute insights to the Stakeholder Engagement team, ensuring evaluation findings feed into partnership, funding development, business innovation and advocacy work.

Oversee preparation of data for the ACE Illuminate platform, delegated to the Administration Assistant, for quarterly submission.

Provide data and analysis to support the work of the Diversity, Inclusion and Relevance committee and Environmental Responsibility, Dynamism and Ambition & Quality working groups.

One-off Reporting and Analysis Tasks for 2026/27:

  • Lead delivery of the Community Impact Coordinators 3‑Year Impact Report
  • Manage the 2026 Partner Survey
  • Lead the 2027 Staff Wellbeing & Development Survey
  • Produce OL’s 2026/27 operational carbon calculation
  • Prepare and input required data for the 2026/27 ACE NPO Annual Survey
  • Prepare statistics and key insight headlines for the 2026/27 Annual Trustees’ Report

2. Production Team Support

Oversee the maintenance of accurate quantitative and qualitative project data and partner evaluation records for all projects by the Administration Assistant.

Lead regular forward-planning meetings with the CEO and Producers to monitor allocation of OL resources against the organisational budget.

Coordinate Reflections and other meetings with Production Team and Chief Executive to review evaluation results.

3. Business Innovation – Impact & Evaluation Services

Work with the Business Development & Innovation Manager to deliver evaluation-based client services, including social value insight reports, support for Social Value Engine users and bespoke evaluation support.

4. General Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and accurate flow of information across Production and Stakeholder Engagement teams.

Liaise with the Administration Assistant as appropriate.

Contribute to the wider development of Orchestras Live as a member of the staff team.



Terms and Conditions

  • The position is full-time (35 hours per week excluding breaks).
  • The salary will be a minimum of £35,000 per annum
  • Confirmation of the position is subject to a 3-month probationary period.
  • This is a remote/home-based role. We will agree with the successful applicant attendance at a minimum number of monthly Team meetings in London or Leeds (travel expenses paid).
  • Orchestras Live pays Real Living Wage rates as recommended by the Living Wage Foundation.
  • The annual leave will be 25 days plus Bank Holidays/Extra Statutory Days, pro rata.
  • Orchestras Live’s workplace pension provider is NEST.
  • Notice can be served by either party, giving two months’ written notice of intent.
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
