After growing up in the brass band community of the northern mining towns, Beth is now a fervent advocate for youth music education. Passionate about ensuring every young musician has access to the resources and materials needed to flourish, she studies music production at Leeds Conservatoire in the hopes of bringing classical and pop communities together through recording. Beth has a well established gigging career through numerous genres and styles, with performance highlights including performing with Dave Stewart from Eurythmics, welcoming the Duke and Dutches of Cambridge, recording with Chase & Status and numerous radio plays.
Being a member of Orchestras For All provided Beth with access to orchestral music whilst in school, something she was not previously able to obtain. Developing outside the OFA programmes she now volunteers for the organisation as a trustee and youth board co-chair, helping to bring alumni experience to OFAs evolution.
