Classically Yours
Classically Yours set out to engage communities across the East Riding of Yorkshire by addressing the inequalities of opportunity to access high quality live orchestral music. In May 2019 we were awarded the RPS Music Award for Audiences and Engagement in recognition of the success of this project.
Requiem - An Act of Remembrance
“In this area important things happened like the Zeppelin raids. I had relatives who died in the war so I feel a real connection to it.” - participant
Thousands of local people were involved in our project Requiem; a multi-faceted project giving tribute and commemoration to the stories of the people of Great Yarmouth and their experiences of the First World War.

The Moon Hares
The Moon Hares – with a story by Hazel Gould and music by James Redwood – was designed to bring young people and community choirs together with an orchestra to create and perform in a family-friendly community opera.

Encountering Wordsworth
Encountering Wordsworth celebrated the 250th anniversary of the birth of William Wordsworth through an inclusive large-scale music, poetry and multi-media partnership project, bringing together primary schools and young composers to create a new composition inspired by Wordsworth and his relationship with nature.
Darlington Hippodrome partnership
Following the extensive refurbishment of Darlington Hippodrome in 2017, we worked with local stakeholders to devise a new way to embed orchestral activity to help build and broaden audiences, while sharing skills and helping to develop the town’s cultural infrastructure.
